REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR SOLAR AND BATTERY STORAGE AT NEW LONDON HIGH SCHOOL,
NEW LONDON, CT

The City of New London (the City) seeks proposals from qualified clean energy developers (the Bidders) for a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to develop, own, operate and maintain a rooftop solar photovoltaic system (the System) at New London High School, 20 Chester St, New London, CT 06320 (the Property). The City has secured a ZREC tariff for up to 249 kW-AC of photovoltaic solar under Year 10 of the state’s ZREC Program. In addition to the rooftop solar photovoltaic system, the City also seeks a bid alternate that includes a battery energy storage system (BESS) that will participate in the Energy Storage Solutions Program, administered by the Connecticut Green Bank (CTGB) and Eversource.
