SOLAR AT THE FLANDERS ROAD LANDFILL IN THE
TOWN OF GROTON, CT

The Town of Groton (the “Town”) seeks Proposals from qualified solar developers (the “Bidders”) to develop a solar photovoltaic system (the “System”) on Town-owned property containing the Flanders Road Landfill (the “Property”). The Town is seeking a Base Bid at nameplate capacity of approximately 1.90 MW-ac at the Property, and a Bid Alternate #1 at nameplate capacity up to 5 MW-ac at the Property, that would participate in the Non-residential program (the “NRES Program”), with Virtual Net Metering (“VNM”) for State, Agricultural, and Municipal (“SAM”) beneficial accounts, administered by Eversource. The Town is also seeking a Bid Alternate #2 for a solar photovoltaic system located anywhere in Eversource territory that would offset the maximum average annual electric consumption of the beneficial Town accounts within Eversource territory over the last five years of approximately 3,000,000 kWh/year, through the NRES Program with VNM for SAM beneficial accounts.
