SOLAR AND BATTERY STORAGE AT THE MUNICIPAL ANNEX
TOWN OF GROTON, CT
The Town of Groton (the Town) seeks proposals for a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from qualified clean energy developers (the Bidders) to develop, own, operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic system (the System) at the Town of Groton Municipal Annex, 68 to 158 Groton Long Point Road, Groton, CT 06340 (the Property). The Base Bid and Bid Alternate #1 will consist of a series of solar carports in the parking lots of the Property which will participate in Year 2 of the state’s Non-residential program (the NRES Program). The Town also seeks a Bid Alternate #2 for a battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Groton Police Department that will participate in the Energy Storage Solutions Program, administered by the Connecticut Green Bank (CTGB) and Eversource.
